The six lane running track, with an eight lane 100m sprint straight, also boasts two 9 metre x 6 metre sand pits complete with two runways for the long jump and triple jump, and a separate pole vault area.

Build Time: 16 weeks
The reconstruction of the natural grass area in the middle of the track was also included in the project and will be used for football and rugby as well as athletics field events, for which an IAAF-standard cage has been installed for hammer and discus.
The scheme was also fully fenced for security and completed with a full floodlighting system installed by Blakedown.
