After the successful completion of the resurfacing of an existing sand-filled pitch at Dauntsey’s School in Wiltshire, Blakedown Sport & Play won the next contract to install a new hockey pitch.
The 101.5m x 63m FIH certified pitch has a sand-dressed Edel LSR/NDR carpet with 12mm shockpad, installed because the pitch is also used for tennis.
Adjacent to the hockey pitch, Blakedown Sport & Play also installed a sand-dressed training facility. Once completed, our sister company Blakedown Landscapes won the £1m external works contract at the school through Easdon Cole Consultants.
